A three week project based on Islamic culture, pattern and identity.    

Maths and Geometric Art, Mar - June 2010, A New Direction, Fulham Primary School
I helped the children to create three stairwell sculpture/installations based on Maths and Art.

How am I amazing?, Jan - Mar 2010, A New Direction, Bruce Grove Primary School, London
The children created a film based on this theme.

Finding the Creative us?, Jan – Apr 2009, A New Direction, Woolmore Primary School, London
A whole-school project developing film and media skills.

Making Waves Project, Aug 2007 – March 2008, Creative Partnerships North, London
A whole-school project developing a newspaper and making a short film about the school.

Rusholme Project, July – Aug 2006, Manchester City Art Gallery, Manchester
Working with local school children to produce artwork to be displayed on posters around the city to celebrate the festival of Muslim Cultures.

Identity and Islam, May – July 2006, Tate Britain Education, London
Together with two other artists, I delivered workshops on identity and the representation of the human body. The project resulted in a body of research and a printed resource for teachers.

Docklands Museum and October Gallery, June 2006, Cultural Co-operation, London
Using the museum collection to develop workshops on migration and identity.
